How Dog Eared Works
It is canine ear cleaning made easy
Forget messy cotton balls and swabs! Simply insert the applicator gently into the top of the solution bottle and tilt the dog’s head to one side. Insert the applicator right into the dog’s ear and push the lever down to activate the spray and release the Dog Eared solution into the ear. The specially designed applicator prevents the device from being inserted into the ear too far and injuring your dog.
The unique applicator accurately safely aims the Dog Eared solution into the area and directs the solution back out of the ear canal to prevent any damage to the eardrum and other sensitive structures. The solution washes away any dirt or wax and flushes the debris out of the ear entirely. Once one application has been completed to one ear, allow the dog to shake its head to remove any excess solution. Proceed cleaning the second ear with the same steps.
Remember: Dog have minds of their own and head shaking is to be expected! Because Dog Eared is a salt-water based solution, be sure the surrounding area where you apply the product will not be harmed by salt water.
Dog Eared is so safe and easy to use that pet owners can incorporate Dog Eared into their regular grooming regimen. Pet owners may feel comfortable using Dog Eared, in one or two applications, as many as three times a week to keep dogs' ears healthy and clean, and lessen the chance for chronic ear infections to reoccur. For dogs prone to heavier wax build up, daily use is recommended.

Suggested Use: 1-2 applications three times per week. For dogs prone to heavier wax build-up, daily use is recommended.
Directions: Secure application device (Figure 1) gently into the top of the bottle. Tilt dog’s head to the right, carefully insert device into right ear and activate. (Figure 2) Solution will wash wax back out of the ear. Allow your dog to shake their head to remove any excess fluid. Tilt dog’s head to the left and repeat procedure for the left ear. It is highly recommended that the ear cleaning take place in an area that will not be damaged by salt water.

Cautions: Impacted earwax should always be removed by your veterinarian and prior to using Dog Eared. After the impacted earwax is removed, Dog Eared may be used regularly to maintain clean, healthy ears.
Dog Eared contents are under pressure. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Do not expose product container to heat or store at temperatures above 120°F. Always keep out of reach from children.
